EXDS have been working with several local SA Engineering Consultants in a bid to remove some of the drafting burden in the production of the SA Water Sewer Longitudinal Sections drawings.
The 12d Model files provided in the “SA Water Customisation” have been developed to be as portable as possible across your various SA Water projects.
After downloading the files required, please watch the installation video below to better understand the 12d Model setup and location for the files.
If your organisation has already installed the files and you have a 12d Model Project with a Sewer Network ready for Plotting. Please continue onto the CADD Longitudinal Section plotting process.
Having downloaded the zipfile provided. The following video will show you how to extract the contents of the files and then how to configure 12d Model correctly to access the files.
Now the SA Water Customisation files are correctly installed the video below shows you the steps required for the procduction of the Sewer Longitudinal Section plots.
For the SA Water Sewer Longitudunal Section plotting to work correctly. Sewer Lot Control strings and Connection types need to be established.
The following video will explaine the new Sewer tool for the easy creation and connection to your sewer Mains based off the defaults provided.
