Data to create a tin (sometimes called a mesh, or a triangulation) can come from a variety of sources:
- 12d ascii (from 12d Model)
- Simple list of coordinates and elevations (x,y,z format)
- AutoCAD .dxf or .dwg
- GENIO format (from MOSS or MX)
- CivilCAD (.as5)
- Microstation .dgn
For this instance, we will read in 12d ascii data to 12d Model. (Design Pad.12da)
File I/O => Data Input =>12d => 12d archive data
