When entering cadastral lots into 12d Model, you can easily create a line that squares off from the previous one using your keyboard. Here’s how to do it:
- Start by creating a line: Draw the first line with your desired bearing. The bearing of the line will appear in the input panel.
- Adjust the bearing:
- To create a line at a right angle to the previous one, press the PGUP key on your keyboard. This will add 90 degrees to the bearing displayed in the panel.
- Alternatively, press the PGDN key to subtract 90 degrees from the bearing.
For example:
- If the bearing of your first line is 90°, pressing PGUP will create a new line at 180°.
- Pressing PGDN instead will set the new line to 0°.
This method ensures you can quickly and accurately create square boundaries without manually calculating angles.
