An interface string is where the design meets the natural terrain – it shows the extent of the design.

Starting from a given base string (String interface), slope strings are created at user defined slopes for Cut and Fill.  Where these slope lines intersect with the provided tin surface, interface points are generated.  These interface points are then joined to form the interface string.
If no tin surface is found within the search distance a slope line is generated at that length.

You will need to register on the website if you have not previously.  Topic 2, Lesson 2.3 in the Workflow covers the creation of the Interface.  Other lessons, move onto adjusting your design as required.
